Packers fans posting on PackerForum.com each had their separate views on an incident involving running back Noah Herron, in which he thwarted a potential robbery of his home by beating the suspect over the head with a bedpost.

It may be expressed differently, but like most things Packers-related, there was a sense of pride in Herron's actions.

In the thread titled "Noah Herron Whoops Robbers Arse," Packers fans supported their backup runner, noting that QB Aaron Rodgers said Herron was "shaken up" over the incident.

According to police reports, Herron heard breaking glass in the lower level of his Green Bay home, and he heard two men entering. After, he clocked one of them over his head with a bedpost he'd unscrewed. The intruder was hospitalized, and as of Tuesday, he's expected to recover.

Posters at PackersForum discuss a few alternatives to what Herron did to fend off a potential intruder to their homes, but there was more sarcastic sympathy expressed for the intruders.

As one poster put it, "Brown County is Packer Country. They best plead guilty, and not demand a trial by jury, then demand to spend their time in a Minnesota prison."
