Not that anyone should be panicking after a disappointing loss to the undefeated Dallas Cowboys, but the Green Bay Packers seem to lack the spark that led to 13 wins and an NFC North title in 2007.

Commentary: With the Green Bay defensive secondary banged up early and running back Ryan Grant currently off to a slow start, last year’s team would have looked to Brett Favre during rough times like these. Although Aaron Rodgers has been calm and cool en route to posting solid stats in the team's 2-1 start, part of the maturation process of a QB is shouldering some of the collective stresses of your club and stepping into a leadership role.

The Pack has looked like the best team in the NFC North thus far, but an expanded leadership position by Rodgers will serve the team well later in the season.

Fan Pulse: With Favre struggling to learn the offense in New York and the Packers leading their division, Green Bay fans are delighted with the competency Rodgers has shown so far. Although a major leadership role may be a little too much to ask from Rodgers right now, it will be a welcomed addition to the Green Bay repertoire when that day comes.

Fantasy Football Impact: The Packers' fantasy stars struggled against a tough Cowboys defense last week. Expect Green Bay's passing game to pick up against Tampa Bay this weekend; however, facing a tough Bucs defense, the struggling Grant may not be a viable option.
