Packer Fans Cheesed Off About Favre’s Latest Non-decision

First off a disclaimer...I am a Vikings fan. Therefore everything I write will be wrong according to at least 98% of Packer fans.

I must say I'm still torn about the possibility of # 4 coming to the Twin Cities and wearing purple. I still don't know how I'm going to handle cheering for the guy I've jeered for years. This of course will be the reverse of the situation for Cheeseheads. So, as hard as it is to admit, I can sort of relate to Green Bay fans. However, keep in mind, he's not the first player to unretire, it's only because he's a Packer legend that sours the cheese. The Pack have their QB of the future, he puts up numbers but not wins and maybe deep down, the fans there still wish they had #4.

However, what I don't understand is some of the Packer fans and their bitter reactions to Favre's making this move. He played last year for the Jets and there were many theories as to why he wanted return to the game then. I think everyone was aware that if it was possible to set up, he would have made the move to the Vikes at that time...so why are you surprised he may do it this year? Only he knows what his reasons are, but why can't he do what he wants? That's what free agency means, key word being free.

As a Purpfan I'll live with it, and will likely enjoy all the drama that goes with this. So to all Packer Backers, suck it up, slap on the cheese hats and buy your tickets for the Vikes game at Lambeau it will be a classic, as will the game in Minneapolis.
