The Green Bay Packers re-signed Hannibal Navies. The linebacker originally joined the team in 2003.

The 6'3", 249 lbs. Navies participated in 15 games during 2004. He recorded 47 tackles and .5 sacks last season.

The University of Colorado product began his career with the Carolina Panthers in 1999. In 6 years as a pro, he has accumulated 218 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 interception, 4 deflected passes, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.

The Packers also waived backup LB Steve Josue.
