The people have spoken. Green Bay Packers' shareholders do not want Javon Walker to receive a pay raise. A handful of shareholders asked general manager Ted Thompson to refuse a contract renegotiation for Walker. They expressed this opinion during the annual shareholder's meeting.

Javon Walker was planning to stay away from training camp until the Packers redo his contract, but published reports have Walker telling a reporter to expect him in training camp when it opens. He was in town yesterday and was allegedly at in attendance in a Green Bay Packers veteran's mandatory meeting. The team expects him to be present when training camp opens tomorrow.

Walker's agent Drew Rosenhaus, who expressed to the media that his client would hold out, was not available for comment.
