GREEN BAY, Wisconsin - The Green Bay Packers have hired Maryland assistant James Franklin as receivers coach, completing their coaching staff.

Franklin, who joined Maryland in 2000, also served as recruiting coordinator. The 33-year-old Franklin becomes the youngest member of a Green Bay staff that also includes former Maryland coach Mark Duffner, who coaches linebackers. He replaces Ray Sherman, who left to become receivers coach for the Tennessee Titans.
