The Carolina Panthers signed former Indianapolis Colts safety Idrees Bashir.

A free agent this offseason, Bashir played 13 games for the Colts in 2004. He finished with 57 tackles, 1 deflected pass, 1 forced fumble, and 1 recovered fumble.

The 6'2", 198 lbs. product of Memphis University has recorded 231 tackles, 5 interceptions, 10 passes defended, 3 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries in 51 games over 4 seasons with Indianapolis.
