According to Carolina Panthers safety Mike Minter, hitting players where it hurts (in their wallets) is the best way to help curtail steroid use in the NFL. He applauded the league for its efforts to increase financial penalties and said it was a significant step in the right direction.

Minter is known for his strong stance against steroid use in the NFL.
