Carolina Panthers star receiver Steve Smith missed practice Tuesday with an undisclosed illness. There is no word on whether he will be well enough to play Saturday against Dallas.

Commentary: Smith needs to take his medicine and get better. This is likely a minor situation but deserves watching.

Fantasy Football Impact: It depends who is throwing the ball, of course - undrafted rookie Matt Moore is expected to start Saturday for Carolina - but the Panthers will look to get more balls to Drew Carter. He's a good backup in most leagues (448 yards, four TDs). Smith hasn't had a TD since Oct. 14.
