The Patriots signed rookie free agents Tyson DeVree (tight end) and Mike Dragosovich (punter) after the team concluded its recent rookie camp. In addition, the Pats cut two rookies: OT Josh Coffman and DL Carlos Feliciano.

DeVree caught 15 touchdown passes in college, playing for Western Michigan before transferring to Colorado. Dragosovich averaged 45.5 yards per punt last season for Division I-AA North Dakota State.

Commentary: The Patriots already have punter Chris Hanson on the roster, and they just signed Scott Player to compete with Hanson. Considering the Patriots punted 44 times last year -- the fewest in the league -- it's interesting to see competition for the job.

Fantasy Impact: None
