The New England Patriots re-signed veteran defender Don Davis. He was an unrestricted free agent who played mostly on special teams the last 2 years with the Patriots.

The former University of Kansas Jayhawk enters his 10th season as a professional. The 32 year-old Davis began his career with the New Orleans Saints (1996-1997), before playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1998-2000) and the St. Louis Rams (2001-2002).

The 6'1", 235 lbs. Davis has 190 tackles in 120 games played.
