Almost a month to the day the Raiders signed him, they released veteran CB Duane Starks.

Starks started on the Ravens' Super Bowl championship team in 2000, and has spent time with Oakland and New England since leaving Baltimore.

Commentary: The Raiders finished their rookie minicamp last weekend, and Starks, who did not play in 2007, became expendable.
