Raiders sign Schilens and Branch to contracts

Oakland signed wide receiver Chaz Schilens and cornerback Tyvon Branch to contracts, the team announced.

Branch, a fourth-round pick from Connecticut, signed a deal July 15, while seventh-round pick Schilens signed July 17. Financial terms and lengths were not announced. The Raiders have fourth-round WR Arman Shields and sixth-round DE Trevor Scott left to sign from their five-player draft class of 2008.
