What’s there to say? This is getting very, very old.

I’ve probably written over 500 articles on the Oakland Raiders and used every word in the book to describe the sinking franchise. On Thursday night, they were every one of those words.

They were embarrassing. They were appalling. They were terrible. They were disorderly, unruly, atrocious, undisciplined, deplorable, abysmal, unsightly, incompetent, dull, confused, disorganized, clumsy, inept, unskilled, inefficient, hopeless and boring. They were hard to watch, difficult to stomach and impossible to take seriously.

And I have more.

But let’s get on with the article. Here are 10 things Thursday night's 34-7 loss to San Diego taught me.

10. The Raiders should never ever get another Thursday night game: If Cris Collinsworth and the entire NFL Network team weren’t busy rightfully bashing the Raiders with their own premeditated thoughts, the Raiders were giving them another reason to on every other play.

9. Kwame Harris should be paying the Raiders to play on the team: I can’t believe I’m going to say this: This bum is worse than Robert Gallery at left tackle.

8. Shane Lechler is one heck of a player: (And he sure gets a lot of reps.)

7. The Raiders have the most pathetic wide receiver statistics ever … EVER: Four grabs by receivers Thursday now raise the team’s WR catch total to -- drum roll, please -- 70 on the season. Yes, folks, about five grabs per game, and 18 fewer catches than Texans wideout Andre Johnson has by himself this year.

6. I’m sick of Andrew Walter: It’s time for the Raiders to ruin another backup QB’s career. Walter and Marques Tuiasosopo have been so poisoned by the Raiders’ disorderly franchise that it’s not even fun to watch anymore.

5. I feel bad for Zach Miller: The young tight end is so talented and disciplined that it’s a shame to watch all his efforts go for naught. On Thursday, the 22-year-old had a team-leading eight grabs for 64 yards. In the meantime, his teammates were penalized six times for 70 yards. All that work … for a minus-6-yard net. Let’s just hope he doesn’t pick up any of the hundreds of bad habits he’s surrounded by daily.

4. The Raiders are lucky they don’t play the Lions in the final three weeks of the season: This would be a nauseatingly bad matchup, and I’m not so sure the Raiders would win. To be honest, I think they’d lose.

3. Don’t use a first overall pick to draft a specimen: As it turns out, JaMarcus Russell’s ability to throw 80 yards from his knees is useless in the NFL. Shocking.

2. Don’t use a fourth overall pick to draft a decoy: Really? One carry in the entire game for rookie running back Darren McFadden? Does that make any sense? What are they saving him for? The 2017 playoffs?

1. Bill Callahan was so right: The Raiders are indeed “the dumbest team in America.”
