The Raiders have a lot of key free agents to sign. Guys like Zach Miller, Michael Bush, Robert Gallery, Michael Huff, and Kamerion Wimbley all will hit the open market when free agency begins. Depending on the CBA some of these guys might be restricted free agents and the Raiders would get a draft pick in return if they sign elswhere.

Al Davis has always made room to sign a hand full of guys to relatively big contracts. If Al Davis made room to pay DeAngelo Hall, Tommy Kelly, and Javon Walker to huge deals I am confident he can make room to get Nnamdi back in Oakland.

The question is whether or not Nnamdi is going to give Al Davis a home town discount? Nnamdi played his college ball at Cal and has been a Raider ever since so you know the fact that he wouldn't have to pick up and move/apapt to a new place might play a part in this.

The Raiders recently brought in Rod Woodson to help out the secondary. Nnamdi Asomugha has all the respect in the world for Woodson and I am sure this also will play a part in getting Nnamdi back.

If the Raiders aren't able to reach a deal with Asomugha look for them to go after guys like Champ Bailey, Jonathon Joseph, Ike Taylor, Brent Grimes, and Antonio Cromartie. All of them can hold their own and it won't break the bank to sign them.

Either way the future of the Oakland Raiders looks bright. They are on the right path. That front four will be even more dominant next season. Look for Shaughnessy and Houston to have monster years next season.
