Warren Sapp looked like he re-hit his prime on Sunday, sacking Titans quarterback Steve McNair three times in Oakland's 34-25 victory at Tennessee. Sapp was on the delivering end of a second-quarter sack deep in Tennessee territory that turned into seven points for the Oakland defense, when McNair lost control of the football and it was subsequently recovered in the endzone by backup safety Jarrod Cooper. The Oakland Raiders took a lead 24-12-stunning a Tennessee comeback attempt.

With Randy Moss slowed by injuries, Jerry Porter put on a show reminiscent of late last season. Porter caught six balls for 123 yards and two touchdowns-his first two of the 2005 season. While Lamont Jordan failed to reach the century-mark running the ball, he was a huge presence on the field, averaging 3.4 yards per carry with 67 yards on the ground. Through the air, Kerry Collins also connected with Jordan for 69 yards and a first-quarter touchdown.

Despite a 17-0 first-quarter lead, Tennessee remained in the game through all four quarters. In the second-quarter, Tennessee receiver Courtney Roby caught a 19-yard pass from Steve McNair for a touchdown-the extra point was missed. Chris Brown then scampered through poor Oakland tackling for a 38-yard touchdown run-the two-point conversion failed. Trailing 17-12, All-Pro punter Shane Lechler booted the ball off to rookie "Pacman" Jones who cut through the Oakland special teams unit for 82 yards and a touchdown. However, safety Tank Williams was called for unnecessary roughness-wiping 6 points and a Titan lead off the board. Three plays later, Warren Sapp's endzone sack put Oakland on top 24-12.

Kerry Collins and Jerry Porter did the rest. Period.

In their last 18 road games, Oakland has been the victor in just two of those contests. Sunday's game was perhaps one their most important road wins-moving Oakland to 3-4 on the season. After starting the season 0-3, the Oakland Raiders have now won three of their last four games, keeping them alive in the Denver-led AFC West Division. Their next two games will make-or-break their entire season, as they travel to Kansas City next week to face the Chiefs followed by a November 11 meeting in Oakland against division-rival Denver Broncos.
