On August 13th, former Pro Bowl lineman Barret Robbins was arrested in San Antonio for possession of marijuana after a bike cop noticed an odor coming from Robbins' car.
Barret Robbins, who used to play with the Oakland Raiders but was released after testing positive for steroids amongst other problems, was already on probation for attempted murder charges and was awaiting trial.

Back in January of this year, Barret Robbins was shot in Miami after officers who were called to check out a burglary found Robbins hiding in a women's restroom. According to reports, an irate Robbins then allegedly assaulted the three officers before being shot twice in the chest.

After pleading innocent to all three counts of attempted felony murder charges against officers, Robbins was placed on bond. While awaiting trail, the presiding judge allowed Robbins to seek treatment in a Houston hospital near his father's house for his bipolar condition.

Spokesman Ed Griffith of the Miami-Dade County state attorney's office said that it was too soon to say how the arrest would affect Robbins' open case in Florida.
