ST. LOUIS, Missouri - The St. Louis Rams signed free agent tight end Roland Williams to a 1 year contract. Williams spent his first 3 seasons with the Rams and was a member of their 1999 Super Bowl-winning team. He played in 46 games with the Rams, catching 51 passes for 472 yards with 10 TDs.

Williams played the 2001, 2002 and 2004 seasons with the Raiders. He saw action in 1 contest for the Buccaneers in 2003.

In 91 career games, Williams has 111 receptions for 983 yards and 13 TDs. He has not caught a pass the last 2 years.
