Offensive tackle Oneil Cousins and defensive tackle Amon Gordon threw punches at one another on Saturday after running back Allen Patrick was taken down hard on a run up the middle during practice. Unfortunately for the Baltimore Ravens, that little scuffle turned into a teamwide brawl that took at least two minutes to quell.

Commentary: After the aforementioned play, nearly all 85 players in camp went at it in the middle of the field.

“Guys are competing, so tempers flare a little bit,” new head coach Jim Harbaugh said.

Doesn’t sound too worried, does he? That’s because Harbaugh apparently wants some chaos and emotion pumping through his players’ veins. That said, defensive coordinator Rex Ryan also noted that Harbaugh is “always in control.”
