Baltimore signed veteran CB Lenny Walls to a free-agent contract Wednesday, the team announced.

Walls, a 6-foot-4 cornerback, has totaled 139 tackles, three forced fumbles, one interception and 28 pass deflections in five seasons with St. Louis, Denver, Oakland and Kansas City.

Commentary: Injuries have held back one of the league's tallest corners, and he has struggled in single coverage through his career. Experience is experience, however, and considering how much the Ravens suffered without starters Chris McAlister and Samari Rolle for parts of the 2007 season, bringing in corners who have played before for tryouts isn't such a bad idea.

Fantasy Impact: None
