For some reason the national media has decided that despite the Baltimore Ravens making it to the AFC championship game, they may just not have what it takes to make it back to the playoffs this year. Their competition is a whole other story, but the Ravens themselves obviously don't get enough attention paid to them.

For example, Terrel Suggs has been sitting with an ankle/heel injury, well Paul Kruger has filled his role like he's a vet. Tarvaris Goode, second year pro out of Miami, has sat a practice or two and can be replaced by one of three players, Jameel McClain, Antwan Barnes, and 5th round selection Jason Philips. Now i am not saying that the team has a replacement for Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, or Haloti Ngata but anyone else on the field can be replaced with their back up and you may not know they are missing.

Last year Dawan Landry went on IR and Jim Leonard stepped in beautifully, enough so to merit a free agent contract and be starting for the Jets and Former D coordinator Rex Ryan. I just would like to make aware the fact the Baltimore Ravens Staff have done an excellent job and shoring up the team top to bottom. They have a backup quarterback who can start, They have three running backs who can all beat up an NFL Defense, The line is 8 men deep, all of whom can start for many teams in the NFL. I won't even give the names out just so you can go and see for yourself. Their new philosophy of everyone should be as good as the guy in front of them is even creating an atmosphere of high competition throughout this training camp. Healthy scuffles show the drive their players have right now. I just ask that the National Media pay more attention then when Snoop Dogg is visiting camp or when Ray Lewis has something to say. The Baltimore Ravens put on a show on Sundays and they are worth more then just a mention.
