Barrack Obama would have even predicted that Phillip Rivers would throw a fade route against Frank Walker on Walkers first play on defense. In the wining seconds of the fourth quarter, the emergence of Frank Walker into the game for injured corner Fabian Washington ended up being a sigh of relief.

Walker was a surprise to make the 53 man roster after having a disastrous pre-season where he was burned by second, third, fourth and fifth string receivers.

When Fabian Washington left the game with a concussion in the fourth quarter against the Chargers, Raven fans clenched their toes as they saw number 41 run onto the field.

Legedu Naanee went one on one with Walker on Walkers first play from scrimmage and number 41 couldn't have played the throw any better. Walker made a big play during a critical time of the game and saved a go-head touchdown.

If the Ravens are going to make it to the playoffs, they need depth at corner. It's going to be a challenge for starters Dominique Foxworth and Fabian Washington to remain healthy for the remaining 14 games.

As scary as this may sound, the Ravens need an effective Frank Walker in order to make it deep into the playoffs.
