The Baltimore Ravens organization is seeking a staff accountant within their finance department.

General Description:
- Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations and financial analyses for The Baltimore Ravens.
- Responsibilities also include analyzing revenues, expenses, financial trends, and financial commitments to explain actual operating results and predict future activities.
- Reports financial data to management and offers suggestions to maximize financial and operation efficiencies and effectiveness.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all accounting and reporting aspects of fixed assets; Track all additions, disposals and depreciations in fixed asset sub-ledger.
2. Oversee all accounting and reporting aspects of concessions/novelties; Serve as a liaison to 3rd party providers and direct their creating efficiencies from a reporting and accounting standpoint
3. Oversee the accounting and invoicing of miscellaneous receivables (i.e. mascot/cheerleader appearances; event reimbursements; etc..)
4. Post journal entries and prepare monthly account analyses
5. Reconcile operating and controlled disbursement bank accounts.
6. Maintain all prepaid expense activity and related amortization
7. Assist in the annual, organizational budget process
8. Assist in the preparation of schedules for a variety of audits
9. Prepare property tax returns
10. Coordinates distribution and receipt of insurance certificates.
11. Perform special financial projects, as deemed necessary.
12. Preparation of employee relocation summary reports on a quarterly basis.

Required Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 years experience in accounting.
- Experience with financial reporting and financial statements a plus.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
- Organization, analytical skills, detail oriented, customer focus, drive for results, effective communication and passion for sports, manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Ability to assess processes, pinpoint areas of improvement and execute changes to achieve efficiencies.
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word/Outlook skills
