The Washington Redskins re-signed defensive ends Demetric Evans and Ron Warner. The 2 players made significant contributions to one of the NFL's best defenses last year.

The 6'3", 300 lbs. Evans played 12 games in 2004, finishing with 26 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 1 deflected pass. The ex-Georgia Bulldog had played for the Dallas Cowboys from 2001-2003 prior to joining the Redskins this past season. He has accumulated 51 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 3 passes defended, and 1 forced fumble in 4 years as a professional.

The 6'3", 270 lbs. Warner recorded 12 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 1 interception in 14 games last season. A product of the University of Kansas, he has spent time with the New Orleans Saints (1998-2001) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002) before joining the Redskins in 2003.
