The Washington Redskins agreed to terms on a new contract for Santana Moss. The Redskins got Moss from the New York Jets in a trade for receiver Laveranues Coles in March.

The Redskins had wanted to work out a new deal with Moss since he was entering the final year of his rookie contract.

The 5'10", 185 lbs. Moss had 45 catches for 838 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Jets in 2004. The former University of Miami Hurricane has recorded 151 catches for 2,416 yards and 19 TDs in 51 games over 4 seasons in New York.
