The Washington Redskins signed safety Cory Hall. The veteran defensive back had been released by the Atlanta Falcons earlier this offseason.

The 6'0", 213 pound Hall registered 53 tackles, 2 pass deflections, and 1 fumble recovery in 14 games for the Falcons during 2004.

A third round pick in the 1999 draft out of Fresno State University, Hall has played for the Cincinnati Bengals (1999-2002) and the Falcons (2003-2004). He has totalled 287 tackles, 6 sacks, 3 interceptions, 10 pass break-ups, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries in 87 games during his career.
