Seahawks release three players

On Friday, the Seattle Seahawks released WRs Alex Bannister and Jerheme Urban as well as DT Garrett McIntyre.

Bannister, who was drafted by Seattle in the fifth-round of the 2001 NFL draft, made the Pro-Bowl in 2003 as a special teams player. He has played in 57 games with 4 starts and registered 9 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Urban signed with Seahawks in 2003 as a free-agent. He played in 10 games, starting 2, and had 13 receptions for 268 yards and a touchdown.

McIntyre signed May 1 as an undrafted rookie free-agent.
