The Seattle Seahawks released right tackle Chris Terry. The 6'5", 295 lbs. former University of Georgia Bulldog was scheduled to make $3 million in 2005.

Terry has been a valuable member of the Seahawks offensive line, starting 33 of the 35 games since obtaining him in 2002. However, he had to serve a 4 game suspension during the 2003 season for violating the NFL's substance abuse and personal conduct policies. He also missed several games in 2004 with a right shoulder injury.

The 6 year veteran began his career with the Carolina Panthers in 1999.
