Seattle running back Shaun Alexander hopes to return to Honolulu next year. But will he be representing the Seahawks? "Who knows? Atlanta's good, though," he said after the game.

The Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles are among several teams who would love to sign the dynamic tailback, who will be an unrestricted free agent next month. Alexander rushed for a career-high 1,696 yards and scored 20 touchdowns this season, but sat out the Pro Bowl with an injured left wrist.

After briefly clashing with coach Mike Holmgren in Seattle last season, Alexander has been deliberately vague about his future. And there's no doubt that the Falcons have been on his mind this week while attending practices and social functions with the Atlanta coaching staff and quarterback Michael Vick. "It's just one of those things where if you get around some people for a while, you just have a good time and anything can happen," Alexander said

Nevertheless, Alexander still wouldn't mind returning to Seattle - or going somewhere else. "If it's supposed to be, it'll be," he said. "I definitely enjoy playing in Seattle, but at the same time, I want to be open for whatever does happen."
