Seahawks start mini-camp without Alexander

Seattle Seahawks started minicamp without running back Shaun Alexander. Coach Mike Holmgren has publicly stated the Pro Bowler will not attend the 6 day camp.

Alexander refuses to sign the $6.3 million tender offer as the team's franchise player. Holmgren is not certain if the 2004 rushing title runner-up will attend training camp.

As a result, Maurice Morris and Kerry Carter are expected to carry the load in the backfield until Alexander returns.
