The Seattle Seahawks released wide receiver Koren Robinson and cornerback Bobby Taylor. Both players were disappointments during their stints in Seattle.

Robinson was a first round pick in 2001. He was suspended last year 4 games for the NFL's substance abuse policy. Robinson was also suspended another game for missing practice prior to a game. He also pled not guilty Tuesday to drunken and reckless driving. His next court date is scheduled on July 18.

The 6 foot 1 inch, 205 pound Robinson was scheduled to make $1.35 million in 2005. In 2004, the North Carolina State product caught 31 passes for 495 yards and 2 touchdowns in 10 games.

Taylor signed a 4 year deal with the Seahawks last season. Formerly a Pro Bowl player with the Philadelphia Eagles, lingering injuries to the CB forced the Seahawks to sign CBs Andre Dyson and Kelly Herndon in the offseason.

The 6'3", 216 lbs. Taylor finished 2004 with 12 tackles, 2 pass deflections and 1 forced fumble in 10 games. The Notre Dame University standout began his pro career with the Eagles in 1995. He has recorded 19 career interceptions and 109 pass deflections in 129 games over 10 years.
