Steelers re-sign Barrett Brooks to 1 year contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed offensive tackle Barrett Brooks. The 10 year veteran lineman is expected to serve as a backup.

The 6'4", 325 lbs. Brooks played in 5 games but did not start in 2004.

The former Kansas State Wildcat began his pro career with Philadelphia Eagles, from 1995 until 1998. He then went on to play for the Detroit Lions (1999-2001) and the New York Giants (2002), before joining the Steelers in 2003.
