The Pittsburgh Steelers and wide receiver Lee Mays agreed to a 1 year deal. The restricted free-agent Mays has contributed mostly on special teams.

The 6'2", 193 lbs. Mays played all 16 games in 2004, receiving 9 passes for 137 yards despite starting only 1 game.

The 2002 sixth round pick out of UTEP has played all 48 games in 3 years as a pro in Pittsburgh. Mays also has returned 36 kicks for 750 yards as a Steeler.
