Steelers’ rookie defensive end officially joins the fold

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed rookie defensive end Ryan McBean to a three-year contract on Tuesday. The financial terms were undisclosed.

Commentary: A former junior college transfer, McBean played defensive tackle and developed into a solid run stuffer at Oklahoma State. The Steelers hope that he can convert into a defensive end.

Fantasy impact: It is unlikely that McBean will crack the starting lineup as a rookie, so his fantasy impact will be minimal at best.
