I thought when Tennessee hired Lane Kiffin about 14 months would be what Tennessee needed, a fresh look on a program that gone stale. What most Tennessee fans didn't realize what that Lane Kiffin was going to be a blowhard, arrogant, mouth running prick that just trash talk every coach and school in the SEC. With Lane Kiffin left Knoxville like a thief in the night, some fans were upset, and rioted. I however thinking now that what Tennessee should look at is this is the best thing that happened to Tennessee.
Now the Atheltic Department can look at this hire as what not to hire in the future when you hire a coach that's going to leave when a big time program like Southern Cal opens up. They need a man that's going to take Tennessee back to the promise land that hadn't happen since they won the National Title in 1998.
An ideal coach would be a man who will rebuild the program, encourage the kids, and make the Volunteers the toughest team in the SEC (at least the Eastern Divison) since Tim Tebow has graduated from Florida. My number one pick would be Mike Leach who can open up the offense to a new level in the SEC, and make them contenders again
Who will be the next Tennessee's head coach? Hard to say, people and student in Knoxville has every right to feel like they've been ripped off by this jerk; it's too bad for me because even though I'm not a South Carolina Gamecock fan, when Lane said that If you go to South Carolina, you'll be pumping gas for a living, I was piss myself. Too bad the dirtbag is gone because I had a perfect sign for Lane, "Lane can pump my gas anytime." People in Knoxville should rejoice that Lane is gone, and you can start fresh with a new coach that will appreciate the program.
