The Houston Texans have signed third-round draft picks Charles Spencer and Eric Winston. The two offensive tackles were the last of Houston's seven draft picks to sign. The Texans have continued their trend of having every draft choice in franchise history signed before the start of training camp.

Spencer, 6-4, 337 pounds, was converted from the defensive line to the offensive line after his sophomore season at Pittsburgh. During his first year at guard, he was named second-team All-Big-East. In 2005, the Panther coaching staff moved him to tackle and he was once again named a second-team All-Big East player.

Winston, 6-7, 310 lbs., was also a converted offensive tackle. During his career at Miami, he was moved from tight end to left tackle after his freshman year. Winston was such a dominant blocker in college that before the 2004 season, many scouts figured he would be a lock to become a top-five pick in the 2005 NFL draft. However, after four games he tore his ACL and prematurely ended his season and any hopes of getting drafted. In 2005, he recovered from his injury and returned to his dominant form garnering first-team All-ACC and second-team All-American honors.

Houston and Chicago are the only two teams to have all their draft picks signed before the start of training camp.
