The Houston Texans signed linebacker Zeke Moreno, punter Curtis Ansel and defensive tackle Myniya Smith. Smith was a undrafted rookie free agent from Southern University (LA).

The 6'2", 235 lbs. Moreno played 9 games for the San Diego Chargers in 2004. The backup LB went on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury. In 4 years as a pro with the Chargers, the USC product has accumulated 166 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 pass deflections, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries in 57 games.

Ansel was released by the Detroit Lions in training camp last year after signing as an undrafted rookie free agent. The former Kansas Jayhawk had a 41.2 yard average on 154 punts in his college career.

The 6'6", 343 lbs. defensive lineman started 10 games in his senior season for Southern. He was a first-team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference player last season.
