Former Tennessee TE Erron Kinney announced his retirement from the NFL on Saturday, ending a productive six-year career marked by injuries.

Kinney was released by the Titans in March after he underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee. He finished his career with 178 catches for 1,750 yards and nine touchdowns.

Commentary: After a 58-catch season in 2005, Kinney seemed to be on the verge of an outstanding career. He never did get his knee healthy enough to stay at a high level, though. According to the Nashville City Paper, Kinney is currently a captain with the Gallatin (Tennessee) Fire Department.

Fantasy Impact: None
