The Nashville City Paper is reporting Tennessee Titans tight end Ben Troupe left minicamp Monday after hearing a pop in his left foot. The second year player from the University of Florida was expected to compete with Erron Kinney - another ex-Gator - for the starting TE spot this season.

The undetermined foot injury forced Troupe to leave practice early in a protective boot. The player had X-rays performed, but results were pending release from the franchise.

The 6'4", 265 lbs. Troupe played 14 games in 2004, finishing his rookie campaign with 33 receptions for 329 yards and 1 touchdown.
