NASHVILLE, Tennessee - Titans safety Tank Williams was arrested early Thursday and charged with driving under the influence after police said an officer saw his car make a rolling stop at a downtown intersection.

The 24-year-old player smelled of alcohol and had red and watery eyes when his car was stopped near downtown, arresting officer Ron Bright said. Police said Williams agreed to a blood alcohol test and registered 0.08 percent, the minimum reading for intoxication under Tennessee law.

Williams declined to speak to reporters as he left the Criminal Justice Center after being booked and posting a $1,000 bond.
