JuCo DT Fangupo commits to Trojans

JUCO defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo gave USC his verbal commitment Wednesday for the 2009 class. The 6-foot-2, 330-pound Mt. San Antonio Community College player amassed 21 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks in eight games last season.

Fangupo chose Los Angeles over Tennessee, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, Missouri and Oregon. David Watson and Nick Holt are credited as the primaries.

COMMENTARY: As clichéd as this may sound, USC has yet another embarrassment of riches: Fangupo is the 11th commitment to the Trojans. He is also the first defensive tackle commitment in the class so far.
