As if the Minnesota Vikings didn't have enough problems dealing with questions about the job security of head coach Mike Tice and a troubling 1-3 record, they are now without the services of defensive end Kenechi Udeze. The second year player injured his left knee in a week 3 loss to New Orleans. Arthroscopic surgery revealed serious damage to the cartilage in that knee. Udeze will miss the rest of the season and will likely be replaced by Spencer Johnson.

Kenechi Udeze was a first round draft pick last year out of USC. He had five sacks as a rookie and tallied one sack in three games this year.
