Well the hoopa earlier this week is Brett Favre changed his mind yet again to play football for the Minnesota Vikings which ironcially is the same division the Green Bay Packers are in. I'm not slamming the fact that Brett Favre will head to the NFL Hall of Fame when he retires, and maybe when he says his daughter wanted him to play again to win the Super Bowl is sincere, but whose to say that the Vikings, and Brett Favre were working behind the scenes for that comeback; it's also possible that Brad Childress nagged Brett so badly that he came back just to shut him up. If everyone forgot what that was; it was the statement "This is it! It's now or never."

So now Brett Favre got his #4 from Josh David Booty, who once wore that number, but is now #4 in the depth chart, I wonder what deal he pulled to get his number from Josh Booty? Anyways he starts tonight, meanwhile Tarvaris, Sage, and Josh are battling out to see who will be the back-up to the almighty Brett Favre. For Brad Childress, he better hopes that this gamble pays off because If he craps out, he'll be on the unemployment line.

This is a make or break for Brad Childress, and instead of having Sage or Tarvais battle it out, or even thought about signing Michael Vick, he brought back a man who we don't know If his arm will be the same like it was. We don't know If his surgically repaired triceps muscle will hold out, or snap off in the regular season. If the gamble pays off, meaning the Vikings goes to the Super Bowl, then the VIkings will be looked at as geniuses; Brad Childress will be getting a contract extension, or get interviews for other NFL teams to work his magic. Also since Brett Favre's contract has a second year as option, well If he wins, he'll ride off into the sunset(And stay there Brett). If the Vikings fall short, then Brett will pussy foot around at home in Mississippi till like mid August like he did earlier this week, and come back for one more year.

If the gamble fails, meaning they either don't make the playoffs, or fall short, then Brett may or may not come back, Brad Childress will be fired, and the Vikings will be laughed at. So Brad for your sake, let's hope this gamble pays off.
