EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - Defensive tackle Pat Williams will be stuffing the run in a new location next season. Williams, a free agent who spent the first 8 seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills, has agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings.

The 6' 3", 315 lbs. Williams registered 51 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 16 games (15 starts) with the Bills last season. In his career, he has 470 tackles and 13 sacks in 108 games.

Williams will be reunited in Minnesota with former Bills defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell and former teammates Antoine Winfield, Keith Newman and Ken Irvin. When they were together in Buffalo, the Bills had the top-ranked defense in the NFL in 1999 and were ranked 3rd the following year.
