EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - The Minnesota Vikings re-signed tight end Jermaine Wiggins, a vital part of their offensive attack last year. Terms were not disclosed, but ESPN reported the free agent received a 5 year deal worth $7.3 million and includes a $1 million signing bonus.

Wiggins, 30, managed career highs with 71 receptions for 705 yards and 4 TDs despite missing 2 games with a broken hand in 2004. The former University of Georgia Bulldog also played for the New England Patriots (2000-2001) and the Carolina Panthers (2002-2003) during his 6 year career. He has 121 receptions for 1,187 yards and 12 TDs.
