EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - Pro Bowl free safety Darren Sharper signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Known as a prolific playmaker, Sharper ranks fifth on the Green Bay Packers' all-time interceptions list with 36. Since 2000, he has an NFL-best 31 INTs. "Adding Darren Sharper, a player we have a lot of familiarity with, gives us tremendous experience and a player with a winning personality," Vikings coach Mike Tice said.

Sharper started 13 contests, registering 77 tackles in 2004. He has been named to the Pro Bowl twice in his career.
