The Minnesota Vikings signed restricted free agent Aaron Kampman to an offer sheet. The Green Bay Packers now have 1 week to match the deal.

The 6'4", 284 lbs. defensive end started all 16 games for the Packers in 2004. He recorded 67 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 3 deflected passes, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.

Kampman is a former Iowa Hawkeye who has been a professional with the Packers since 2002. In 40 games, he has totaled 120 tackles, 7 sacks, 5 passes defended, 4 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.
