According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Minnesota Vikings player Onterrio Smith was stopped by Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport police April 21. The running back was detained after being found in possession of a kit used to pass drug tests. Smith was released by authorities after questioning and was not charged with any crimes.

Smith admitted in a police report that he was carrying dried urine, a device called "The Original Whizzinator" and a bottle of pills labeled "Cleansing Formula." He insisted to authorities the materials were being transported to a cousin.

The 5'10", 214 lbs. Smith led Minnesota in rushing with 544 yards on 124 carries last year during his second season in the NFL. The University of Oregon product was forced to miss 4 games in 2004 following a suspension after testing positive for marijuana.
