Chargers offer only static as Bills amp the voltage

Buffalo Bills
They don’t really need electricity to play football. Sure, it helps to have some type of current in order for the game to be broadcast, but the Buffalo Bills kept the San Diego Chargers from powering up as the power was out on Sunday, hearkening back to an era when even leather helmets were for sissies and quarterbacks appeared in newspaper ads...

Feenster’s Top Ten observations on our really cool Sunday. Lemme know guys what needs to be bumped to #11, & what I missed in the top ten.
1. Mylar balloons should be banned and the guy who let go of the string needs to be incarcerated! (kidding) But I sure enjoyed what I was able to see! And kudos to the power co. Transformer issues usually take 2 plus hrs to resolve!
2. Now I know why we snagged Kawika Mitchell. Thanks to him, we got to end this game with kneel downs!
3. This should put the final nail in the coffin between the TE / JP debate. What an outstanding game TE had! With a full season under his belt (16 games), I would venture to say we FINALLY found Kelly’s replacement!
4. McKelvin is playing like the rookie he is. He hesitates on kickoffs & his coverage is not up to NFL standards yet. I’m starting to wonder about this pick. I’m sure a bunch of you guys will come to his defense, but I’m not impressed at all with this guy!
5. Did anybody miss Shobel?
6. When did they allow stick-um back in the league? Concerning Evans’ imitation of David Tyree, all I can say is WOW! What a TD catch!
7. What a block by Jackson on the TD run! This guy is an all around player & is invaluable!
8. Great play calling by Turk! This was the smartest game I’ve seen this team play in a VERY long time. For once, WE out coached the opponent!
9. Our O line seems to have really jelled on pass blocking, but I’m still disappointed with our run blocking. On many other teams, Lynch would have some serious stats.
10. Is 5 & 1 sweet or what? I’m thinking we’re for real. I know anything can happen, but we just handled the Bolts! I’m thinking the Cards game was just “one of those games”. To me, this game was a barometer. We need to get healthy & STAY healthy so we don’t end up like Big D!
And AB, your comment about Mitchell's performance being the best of any Bill this season, all I can say is, May I borrow your crystal ball ? I need to know if my mother-in-law is coming over for Thanksgiving this year.

Great game! I had to sign up for the NFL field pass, so I could listen to the game while the power was out, but it was worth it. I was extremely impressed with TE's performance, especially coming off of a concussion. So far this year, we've beaten 2 teams we were expected to lose, and 1 loss to 1 team we were expected to win. So, we're looking really good at 5-1 with getting ready to play our division opponents. Thank you Raiders for the OT win to give us a 2 game lead over the Jets, let's go Broncos tonight!

Good list (for what we were able to see). I sat down at 1 to see da Bilz, only to see Pitt-Cinci on TV. By the time they got the coverage back on TV, I was off to my son's football game. I was able to DVR it and catch the game, so I agree with your comments. TE did a good job spreading the passes around as Reed and Parrish made some good plays.

The NFL is wide open this year, watching teams like Indy, Dallas, Pats, Bolts getting beat (and some handily) means the Bilz have a real chance to go far.
