Remaining games resemble past games for Bills

Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills have faced a few bad teams and some decent ones, and they’ll now face. . . a few bad teams and some decent ones. An extra day off thanks to an appearance on the joyous event that is "Monday Night Football" is an extra day to fret, as it gives this team and its fans a chance to wonder if the slide will stop. As far as upcoming...

The Bills' playoff hopes are on life-support IMO. Watching the Pats and Jets last night, it is clear they have both better coaches and players. We are in a major hole at 0-3 in the division. If we beat Cleveland, were still alive. If we lose to Cleveland, which I think is going to happen, were done. The Monday night game will tell us alot about the state of this team. See ya Monday....

Congratulations Anthony! You've managed in today's piece to say everything and nothing all at the same time. We know the Bills have beaten a bunch of bad teams and lost to good teams. We know that they are bad enough to lose to even a bad team if they don't bring their "A" Game. We know that they have to play their 3 divisional rivals again and they all have winning records.
You completely lose me when you describe the Bills troubles as "repairable and not fundamental." What is more fundamental than an offensive line that has proven over the course of 2 seasons that it is not capable of knocking opponents off the ball in the running game? What is more fundamental than a defensive line that despite some new additions has shown no propensity for getting to the opposing passer? Are you proposing that the talent is there and it just needs to execute better? Be coached better, play with more emotion? Or perhaps that the return of right guard Brad Butler to the offensive line will cure the running game and the hopeful return (at some point) of Aaron Schobel will generate a pass rush? Since the Bills could do neither with those 2 in the line-up I have no illusions that their return will suddenly turn the situation around. As Dennis Green said "they are who we throught they were!"
Final question for discussion, is bad weather really an advantage for the Bills? Most of the team hails from the South or the West Coast and didn't grow up coping with the wonder that is an Upstate winter. They practice inside in the fieldhouse when the weather gets bad. I doubt many of them stand around outside in the cold just so they can acclimate themselves to December weather in Buffalo. Homefield as far as 70,000 screaming fans is an advantage, but I'm not certain the weather factor is?
Here's something interesting. I put my two tickets to this Monday night's game up on Craig's List yesterday morning. Despite the huge number of Bills fans and quite a few Browns fans here in Rochester, I haven't received a single phone call on them. You think perhaps the wind has gone out of the sails for the fans of both of these teams?

Watching the epic battle between the Jets and the Patriots last night put the Bills in clear perspective. The Jets and Pats were exceptionally well prepared. They were attacking with a definite purpose on both sides of the ball . As events changed course, the teams reacted within seconds. They are sprinkled with players who can make a difference on every play. Watching Jerod Mayo make plays (while thinking Paul Posluszny) hammered home the difference between the Pats organization and the Bills blunderers.

Just repeat the four previous sentences adding a "not" in each, and you have the Bills: The unable unguided by the unknowing. Maybe a few games against the clowns will help the Bills get their disguise back on so everyone can pretend they're a real NFL contender, or will be someday.
